At the invitation of the President Jakov Milatović, the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis will pay an official visit to Montenegro on October 23.
Milatović will welcome Johanis at the Residence in Cetinje, with the highest state and military honors, which will be followed by a conversation between the two officials.
After entering the guest book and the meeting of the two delegations, the heads of state will make statements to the public.
The presidents of Montenegro and Romania will plant a tree of friendship in the courtyard of the Residence in Cetinje.
At the end of the day, Milatović will host a festive lunch in honor of the President of Romania.
The official visit of Johannis will follow Milatović's visit to Romania at the beginning of March this year.
"The upcoming visit of President Iohannis to Montenegro is a confirmation of the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries and represents an additional impetus to the strengthening of interstate cooperation," the office of the president of the country announced.
