The leader of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) and the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandic said that "the Serbian people searched even in independent Montenegro and increased their number compared to the time when we were in a joint state with Serbia."
As a guest on Happy television, he said that as a Serbian politician from Montenegro, he is very satisfied with the results of the census.
"The results were delayed, but we had an agreement between the parliamentary majority and the opposition. Every citizen could check the census and see if the data was entered in the same way as the citizen announced," said Mandic.
He added that data was obtained from which new policies in Montenegro will be built.
"Montenegro is an old country, it is a country that in the next census, if the policy is not changed, will have a smaller number of citizens than it is today," he said.
