As our first fulfilled promise, as soon as the city government is formed, we will start greening Podgorica with 2.504 trees, as we promised in the campaign, announced the leader of the Party of European Progress (SEP), Duško Marković.
He thanked the citizens of Podgorica for the votes received on September 29 in the elections.
"After the election process in the capital has officially ended, I want to, on behalf of the Party of European Progress and on my own behalf, thank everyone who put their trust in us on September 29. Your 2.504 votes are confirmation that, in just three months since the founding of the party, you recognized the seriousness and responsibility, knowledge and expertise of the people on the SEP list. Also, that you have recognized a different approach to conducting politics compared to what has been offered to you so far. That politics can be decent and fair, without disqualifications and persecution of political competition dissenters," said Marković.

He said that the votes given to SEP are your votes of free citizens who want order in the country and order in Podgorica.
"You laid the foundation for spreading our idea and vision of the development of Montenegro," he added.
"We are continuing the formation of our municipal committees, we will work on the preparation of the founding congress, and our doors will be open to everyone who believes that the interests of the citizens must be more important than those of any party. We are convinced that more and more citizens will accept and support our ideas and that our party will becoming an increasingly important factor on the political scene," said Marković.
"Dear voters of the Party of European Progress, we understand your support, first of all, as a huge obligation to fulfill each of our promises and to never let you down," he added.
