The list "For Budva! With heart and knowledge! Prof. Dr. Nikola Milović" through the election program "Clean Ten", offered concrete and sustainable solutions for the many problems that Budva is facing today, announced the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
"The first part of the program involves the implementation of significant projects - restoring the old glory of the swimming pool and beach of Pisa, the reconstruction and construction of a modern marina with an increase in the number of moorings and the construction of the Lungo Mare promenade, with accompanying facilities, as well as the construction of the city theater building. The restoration of the Song of the Mediterranean is also planned and the establishment of a special nightlife zone. We will participate in the construction of a day hospital with a polyclinic and the reconstruction of the Health Center, as well as the opening of St. Stephen's," the announcement states.
The second part of the program, as it is added, presents Budva as a strong economic center.
"It is planned to enable entrepreneurs to receive grants of 10.000 euros each for increasing the quality of private accommodation, returning the VAT rate to 7 percent, developing female entrepreneurship and crafts, for which up to a million euros will be allocated. An initiative to change the set of laws will also be launched which will refer to the easier legalization of buildings, and a special municipal body will be established to support citizens in legalization and obtaining compensation for confiscated property. Students from families in a state of social need will be provided with free meals in schools, courses and paid training. Petrovac will receive a modernized promenade and a modern communal infrastructure.
The announcement also states that the third segment focuses on investing in sports, and that over five million is planned for sports organizations.
"There is also a plan to solve the problem of the lack of parking spaces through the construction of six garages and a parking lot. Valorization of the Budva hinterland is also planned, through hiking, biking, building villas with swimming pools, developing rural tourism, viticulture, agriculture and olive growing," the announcement concludes.
