The former president of the Municipality of Budva supported Mikijelj

The former president of the Municipality of Budva, Veselin Marković, supported Mladen Mikijelj, the holder of the "For the future of Budva - Budva must go forward" list.

Marković is a candidate for councilor on the list led by Mikijelj.

"Mikijelj has the opportunity to be the first person to unite all the citizens of Budva, to direct us towards friendship, not division," said Marković. "The list 'For the Future of Budva - Budva must go forward', led by Mikijelj, will make this happen, and that is exactly why I am part of this team," said Marković.

Bojana Pićan, candidate for councilor and MP in the Parliament of Montenegro, emphasized the importance of education for the progress of Budva and society.

"As a student, I was inspired by Mihajl Pupin's autobiography "From Pashnjak do Naućenak", where he states that knowledge is 'golden ladders that lead us to heaven'. I believe in that," said Pićan.

"Throughout history, Budva has had many notable personalities, but few women. I believe that education and knowledge are key to the development of our society, and I would like Budva to get a kindergarten and a school, stating that it wants to be remembered for the quality of education," Pićan said.

Nemanja Kuljača, candidate for councilor and current director of the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Budva, added that Mikijelj showed courage and determination in the political struggle for a better future of Budva.

"Back in 2016, while working in the banking sector, Mladen resisted the DPS regime at the time, and he was in the front lines in 2020 when they tried to take power in Budva by force."

Kuljača reminded of Mikijel's results at the head of the Secretariat for Investments, as well as the current director of the Public Enterprise for the Management of Maritime Assets of Montenegro, highlighting the successfully implemented infrastructure projects.

"From the promenades in Pržno and Jaz to the promenades in Sutomor, all the way to the work on the Pet Danica promenade and the return of the Kamenari-Lepetane ferry line to state ownership, Mikijelj has shown that he knows how to turn ideas into actions," Kuljača said.
