The State Election Commission (SEC) accepted today the objections of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) related to the actions of the Municipal Election Commission in Kotor, regarding the decision to repeat voting at two polling stations.
The SEC, as reported to Vijesti, ordered the MEC to issue a decision on repeating the elections at the polling station in Mirac and one polling station in Prčanje.
The MEC of Kotor did not hold a session on Sunday, at which it was supposed to decide again on repeating the elections at those two polling stations, because it did not have a quorum.
The State Election Commission previously ordered the Kotor Municipal Election Commission (MEC) to make a decision on new voting in those two places. The MEC did not make a decision on repeating the election, because eight of its members supported the annulment of the vote, while eight were against it. At least nine votes are needed to make a decision.
