The chief city architect of the municipality of Budva, Jelena Lazić, reacted to the statement of the Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, Slaven Radunović.
Radunović said that "Budva contributes the most to the budget of Montenegro" and that it is a shame that Budva does not have a hospital.
"I hope that the attitude towards Budva will change in the coming period. This sentence was repeated countless times by the citizens and the leadership of the Municipality of Budva, especially at meetings in your Ministry or at the sessions of the Committee for Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning. To our city, Budva , constant responsible relations of state institutions are needed, especially towards space, as the most important resource of the state, which you manage," she stated in her speech.
She added that they expect the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property to change their relationship regarding the failure to adopt the Spatial-Urban Plan for the territory of the municipality of Budva, which is the basis for the construction of the mentioned hospital.
"When you support the statement that Budva does not have that, you accept the criticism addressed to your Ministry, i.e. with that statement it is said that your Ministry did not do its part, even though the Municipality of Budva listed the hospital, schools, and kindergartens as one of the many needs. in a series of opinions that she submitted to state institutions in the previous period and in a series of public announcements through the media," Lazić stated, among other things.
