The political elites in Montenegro have no right to miss another great chance to bring Montenegro into the European Union (EU), announced Ervin Ibrahimović, Vice President of the Government of Montenegro and Minister of Foreign Affairs and leader of the Bosniak Party (BS).
"We are taking strong steps towards full membership in the EU," Ibrahimović pointed out in a statement published on the BS website.
He added that "the positive tone of the Progress Report of Montenegro represents another important step that our country is taking on the way to full membership in the EU and confirms that the Government of Montenegro is committed to implementing the European agenda".
"We must remain focused on our most important foreign policy goal, the membership of Montenegro in the EU. Before us is an ambitious but achievable agenda of reforms that we must implement on the way to full membership in the EU by 2028. It is important to us that all pro-European forces in Montenegro are fully focused on to that goal," said Ibrahimović.
