The digitization of local administration and the creation of a reliable online platform "e-Budva" will be one of the priorities of the new municipal administration, led by the Citizens' Movement URA, because it is devastating that in 2024 our fellow citizens will be waiting in lines for hours in order to exercise their basic rights. announced from the list "URA - Blažo Rađenović - Different!".
"The digitization process will involve several stages that will cover several local services. We will establish the e-Budva platform, which will contain numerous services, such as: online wedding scheduling, online payment of real estate taxes, water, garbage collection and other local taxes, while the Municipality will cover the costs of commissions for the aforementioned transactions. Through that platform, applications for benefits for newborn children, applications for subsidy programs, as well as numerous other services will be made possible," said the URA Citizens' Movement Committee in Budva.
They pointed out that, in this way, the burden on local services will be reduced, but also a huge amount of lost time will be saved for all citizens of Budva, who will be able to complete everything from the warmth of their homes.
"Also, we will connect Budva's public (bus) transport lines with Google maps and enable live GPS tracking of buses, through integrated validators in all buses. In this way, citizens and tourists will use public transport incomparably easier and more, which will help reduction of traffic jams", added in the statement delivered to the media.
GP URA points out that the "e-Budva" platform will also have the help of AI officers, following the example of existing positive practices, who will provide citizens and tourists 24/7 with answers to all questions within the jurisdiction of the local administration.
"And all this is only the first step towards creating a smart city, as Budva must soon be. We are also planning other aspects of digitalization of public services, the effect of which will be felt immediately after commissioning, and which will revive our Budva and make local self-government accessible and efficient," the announcement concludes.
