We need modern schools, kindergartens, hospitals, promenades and infrastructure to live better. This is the only way to restore Budva's old glory as a metropolis of Adriatic tourism, announced Mladen Mikijelj, holder of the list "For the future of Budva - Budva must go forward".
He visited households in Petrovac.
"These visits were well received by the citizens, who fully support him for his advocacy for a better future for Budva. In two days, Mikijelj knocked on the doors of more than 120 households and talked to about 180 residents of Petrovac, Buljarica and surrounding settlements, who were pleasantly surprised by his visit and sincere advocacy for their needs," the announcement states.
"The citizens of Petrovac recognized Mikijelje's commitment to the development of Budva, which has been stagnant for almost a year. Enough of the city's knocking - enough of the experiments, Budva must move forward, because there is no other way for Budva," it added.
Mikijelj promised that even as the President of the Municipality, even after the elections, he would "knock on doors and talk to the locals in order to hear their problems and ideas".
"These visits are important for our common path towards a better Budva," Mikijelj pointed out and concluded "we will all work together to achieve the expectations of our fellow citizens".
