I am convinced that there are more Serbs in Montenegro than according to the census, said the president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) reports that Dodik in the show "Oko" referred to the recently published official results of the census in Montenegro.
"Serbs have finally come to a place where they can clearly declare themselves, and I am convinced that there are more Serbs than there are now according to the census. Today, if it were done again, there would be even more. The majority of people there declare that they speak Serbian, and one of the basic elements of identity is language," said Dodik.
According to the results of the census held in Montenegro in December last year, 32,93 percent of citizens declared themselves as Serbs.
According to the results of the census, most of the inhabitants of Montenegro speak the Serbian language, 43,18 percent of them (269.307).
