For more than a month, the whole of Kotor has been held hostage by a group of people dissatisfied with the election result, who still do not want to face the defeat they suffered on September 29. The leader of the losers keeps the city under blockade and is prone to corrupt practices. A fraudster who was not helped even by hiding behind the coalition, is the shame of this city, announced the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Kotor.
DPS said that they will do what they announced.
"We will file a criminal complaint, with a detailed explanation, so let the state deal with the illegalities resorted to by local losers from now on," they said.
They said that for weeks they have been persistently talking about the fact that the only goal of the outgoing government is the "Shavnica scenario".
They said that this was once again confirmed today at the session of the Municipal Election Commission (MEC).
"At the same time, two days ago, he himself contacted our officials in order to agree with them on the day of repeating the election - at the same time agitating on other sides to vote again against that decision. In the past 30 days, the whole of Montenegro had the opportunity to see what is one person sick of the government willing to do, so we hope that the fewer and fewer people who still count on political alliances with him have managed to understand that," the statement said.
The DPS called on the authorities to take action, "because otherwise it will really look like they have decided to follow this with folded hands".
"And if a handful of local losers continue to make election processes in Montenegro meaningless - then we have only one question for the authorities. Why even organize elections? Abolish them and give lifetime mandates to those who cannot win the elections," the announcement concludes.
