Candidate for councilor from the list of the Democratic Party of Socialists "For Budva! Both with heart and knowledge! Prof. Dr. Nikola Milović", Blažo Pima announced that the party plans to create a zone for nightlife in Budva, on the site below "Top Hill" and the Aqua Park.
"Budva used to be a symbol of fun, a destination recognized for its spectacular events, world-class performers and festivals." Our coast hosted Madonna, the Rolling Stones, the Prodigy, David Guetta, festivals such as Pjesma Mediterana and Sea Dance — these were all names and events that made Budva a favorite tourist destination. Unfortunately, Budva no longer has that energy. Big concerts are a thing of the past, while not a single event with stars from outside the region was held this year. The former promenade, full of bars, now lives in its hybrid form at the other end with a dominant turbo-folk scene, while the Old Town and the quiet zone are the result of the dissatisfaction of restaurateurs and residents of the oldest city on the Adriatic," said Pima.
In addition to justified criticism, as he points out, that list offers concrete solutions to restore Budva to its former glory.
"Our plan is to create a zone for nightlife, on the site below the Top Hill discotheque and the Aqua park. We plan to arrange a zone intended exclusively for nightlife, which will satisfy the needs of tourists who want to have fun and at the same time preserve the peace of the local community. Jaz will once again host the most popular At this and other locations such as Mogren Fortress, we will develop an infrastructure that will enable the organization of world-class events, which will attract visitors from the country and abroad. This will directly affect the local budget and the inflow of foreign investments," Pima emphasized.
He adds that he will also support local communities through funds so that they can organize events that promote the culture and heritage of the region itself.
"We will subsidize the development of culture and subculture in urban areas, which will contribute to a more diverse offer for tourists and locals. Budva will once again become the most popular tourist destination, recognized for having the best time with the best cultural and artistic content, to the pride of all of us," concluded Pima.
