The President of the country, Jakov Milatović, will organize the fourth "Conversation with the President" on Tuesday, November 5.
The topic of discussion will be the European perspective of Montenegro in the context of the recently published Analysis of the Cabinet of the President of Montenegro and the European Commission's Annual Report on Montenegro, his cabinet announced.
The event starts at 11 a.m. at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Montenegro.
Milatović, as announced, will open a dialogue on the most important issues related to the European integration of Montenegro through a conversation with the academic community, students and the interested public.
In addition to the analysis of the current situation, they add, special emphasis will be placed on reforms that are "necessary for Montenegro to maintain positive momentum in the negotiations and avoid stagnation in key areas".
"The recently published analysis of the Cabinet of the President of Montenegro 'Democratic progress in Montenegro must not stop!', which will be the basis for the discussion, clearly identifies the areas where additional reforms are needed in order to speed up the negotiations. Special focus is placed on challenges and weaknesses systems to which special attention should be paid in the coming period and additional work should be done so that Montenegro does not slow down its path to the EU and worsen the level of its democratic development," the announcement reads.
They said that Milatović, through this conversation format, continues an open dialogue on key topics for Montenegrin society.
