The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, congratulated his "friend and ally", the President of Moldova, Maja Sandu, on winning a new mandate.
He said that her victory in the second round of the presidential elections on Sunday violated the support for Moldova's future in the European Union, expressed in the recently held referendum in that country.
"The goal for Montenegro and Moldova is a common future in the EU," Milatović wrote on IX.
