The irresponsible management of Budva, the lack of appropriate strategy and planning has resulted in the city facing unprecedented devastation in absolutely all spheres, announced the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Budva.
"Instead of presenting itself as an attractive tourist destination, Budva has become a symbol of irresponsibility and incompetent management. It is precisely for these reasons that the citizens of Budva will punish the local 'experts' in the upcoming local elections for all that they were forced to endure: the destruction of sports and culture, carelessness about the symbols of our city, non-domestic attitude towards city resources, communal chaos and traffic collapse, chaos in health care...", the announcement states.
They add that the citizens are aware that the DPS "always behaved in a principled way and that there was always a sign of equality between the DPS and the vital interests of Budva".
"That's why, after the period spent in the opposition, faced with an unprecedented campaign of lies and manipulations launched from clerical and foreign centers in which the fight for Budva went beyond the political game for the management of local self-government, we are confident that we will receive the necessary number of votes from citizens who will trust our party and our vision of the development of the municipality. We promise the citizens that, after November 17, we will take responsibility for managing the further development of Budva, with responsible, honorable and professional people," the DPS statement concludes.
