The President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the leader of the New Serbian Democracy, Andrija Mandić, said that a plan was hatched in Budva to return that city under the influence of the DPS, that is why he is giving strong support to Mladen Mikijelj in the fight to oppose it.
In Budva, Mandić visited the family of Ilija Gigović, the president of the civic list "Nova Budva", which is participating in the upcoming elections in the coalition "For the future of Budva - Budva must move forward". Mladen Mikijelj, the future president of the Municipality of Budva, was with Mandić, who received the support of the gathered fellow citizens on that occasion.
Mandić condemned the attempts to return Budva under the influence of the DPS, stressing: "I came to support your efforts so that Budva is not taken away from us. There was a dangerous plan here to hand Budva back to the DPS. Whoever 'hugs' himself with the DPS and Milo Đukanović, he disappeared from the political scene, becoming not only a 'spare wheel' but also a part of the criminal structure".
He pointed out that the citizens of Budva recognized the importance of this moment.
"Through the broad coalition list 'For the future of Budva - Budva must move forward', we gathered the best citizens of Budva, people of integrity, including the former president of the Municipality of Budva, Veselin Marković, with the common intention of protecting the interests of the city and moving it forward. Budva, which is was once an example of standards and development, it deserves to shine again in its full glory. Our coalition shows that Budva needs people who will fight for its development and preservation of values," said Mandić.
He presented Mladen Mikijelj as a president in whom citizens can trust, stressing that Budva needs harmony and joint decision-making.
"We need harmony in Budva, because when more people are asked, better decisions are always made than when only one decides. Mladen is exactly the kind of president who will respect the opinions of citizens and work for their interests," concluded Mandić.
