Danilo Šaranović's statement today, in which he blames others for his incompetence, only shows that he is the wrong man in the wrong place. And that's why when he starts to determine the shortcomings for all the mistakes, and all the mistakes in the sector he is at the head of, we advise him to start with himself first, and with all the cadres that the Democrats have infiltrated into the so-called "ministries of power", it was announced from the Democratic Party of Socialists ( DPS).
"For a year, Šaranović's battle for party supremacy in the MUP has been going on. The leaders of this ministry are fighting each other, filing reports and arguing, while the safety and security of citizens is at an all-time low. Šaranović himself began his mandate with an unsuccessful attempt to for the third time, he dismisses the director of the Police Administration, so that at the very beginning of his mandate, the police was a training ground for a party skirmish over loot, in which the minister got the upper hand," the announcement states.
The DPS said that during all that time, the safety of citizens was on the back burner, and trust in the police was declining.
"The case of the search for a multiple murderer, inadequate and delayed reaction, PR instead of transparency, is just the tip of the pyramid of irresponsibility in the sector managed by Šaranović. As a consequence of such actions, fear and the feeling that they are left to their own devices crept in among the citizens," added the DPS- a.
They point out that no one else is to blame for such a situation but the Government and its constituents, who, they say, ruined the efficiency of the state apparatus with party compromises and the appointment of unknown and incompetent people to key positions in the state.
"Minister Šaranović, we do not expect you to resign, which would be the only moral and honorable act at this moment. But, if you have at least a little shame, in the future you will refrain from public appearances in which you look for someone else to blame for your incompetence. Such behavior it is characteristic of cowards and immoral people, who point the finger at someone else for every mistake they make," the statement concludes.
