"Budva, as a city of sports and great sports aces who made the Montenegrin metropolis of tourism and our country famous, should have been recognized for sports tourism a long time ago. Rare but significant sports events in our city, which gathered thousands of athletes, indicate that we must invest in existing and build new sports facilities," Janićijević pointed out in the announcement.
She added that the coalition "Democrats - Movement Europe Now - Even Stronger" will influence the creation of development policies in Budva "so that this branch of tourism has the place it belongs to, which it once had during the 'golden' years of tourism in Montenegro".
"We proved that we were good hosts of the most massive competitions ever organized in our country, the Games of the Small Countries of Europe and the World Boxing Championship, but we did not learn the lessons that better and better conditions must be created in this direction, in order to maintain the status of the Mediterranean center for sports events With the fastest growing branches of tourism, Mice and Kongresni, we definitely have a chance that we will not miss, that our city lives on sports tourism, 365 days.
