The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, is participating in the fifth summit of the European Political Community, which is being held in Budapest, and is hosted by the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, announced today from the Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro.
The announcement adds that the summit brought together 50 European leaders, who are discussing the most important challenges facing Europe today, with an emphasis on economic security and migration.
"President Milatović is attending the plenary session and, as part of the summit, he will speak on the topic of the economy of European countries in the light of various risks that affect its security. On the sidelines of the summit, President Milatović will also have a series of bilateral meetings with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the Prime Minister of Finland, Peter Orpa, and the Prime Minister of Denmark Mete Frederiksen and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristerson, in the context of strengthening support for the acceleration of Montenegro's European path," the announcement reads.
The Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro said that the European Political Community aims to encourage political dialogue and cooperation in solving issues of common interest: strengthening the security, stability and prosperity of the European continent.
"Previous meetings were held in Prague, Chisinau, Granada and London," the announcement concludes.
