We can see every day that the outgoing government in Budva is in total chaos and that the city administration system is in complete disarray at all levels, and the latest example is the attempt to organize a meeting to agree on a New Year's Eve program in front of the walls of the Old Town, which several uninvited persons entered, and there were insults, which is why the meeting was interrupted.
This is stated in the announcement of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Budva.
The Budva DPS points out that the city leaders are not even able to maintain the minimum work process, "every initiative ends with a scandal that, unfortunately, has made our city recognizable not only in Montenegro, but also in the region".
"Budva is recognized today for its inefficient management that resulted from a lack of vision and expertise. Hiring based on party affiliation, non-transparency of local government work, traffic problems, communal chaos and neglect of sports and cultural institutions are the consequences of an incompetent government mired in political corruption. In addition to all that, the accelerated spending of budget funds without a broad consensus of all authorities in the city is questionable, so this unacceptable and unholy behavior clearly indicates that everything is being done without legal regulations and usual procedures. Today, Budva is a reflection of politics at the state level, and that's why after the upcoming elections, we will do everything we can to turn from the disgrace of the coast into a force for change. We will arrange our Budva according to the standards befitting a tourist metropolis of a future member of the European Union", concludes the announcement of the municipal board of DPS Budva.
