Radjenovic: Budva must not be left without a traditional New Year's program

"If even one percent of the serious accusations that we read these days are true, then it is a new warning sign and an indicator that the current decision-makers are not up to the job they do and for which we all pay them."

In the light of unpleasant scenes that shake the Municipality of Budva, daily insults, public accusations and media fights, we call on the outgoing leadership of the Municipality to take matters into their own hands and to stop the further abuse of our Budva, as well as to spare it the regional and unprecedented embarrassment that will follow if due to party fights and vanity, Budva will be left without a traditional New Year's program, stated the holder of the list "URA - Different" Blažo Radjenović.

He reacted to several days of heavy accusations between the director of the Budva Tourist Organization Nemanja Kuljača, the manager Marijana Božović and the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva Jasna Dokić, regarding the organization of the New Year's program in the Municipality of Budva

"I am asking all the actors of this Spanish soap opera to be serious and to put the interests of Budva first, and not to resolve their inter-party disputes behind the backs of all citizens and the municipality itself. If their stubbornness and misunderstanding results in the absence of a quality New Year's program, and therefore with the catastrophic visitation of Budva during the holiday period, it will be an unprecedented disaster, the likes of which Budva has not remembered, and which can be easily and quickly prevented," said Radjenović.

He reminds that to all the mentioned public officials, who are paid by the citizens of Budva, the interest of their city must come first and that they must operate in accordance with the Law.

"If even one percent of the serious accusations we are reading these days are true, then this is a new warning sign and an indicator that the current decision makers are not up to the job they perform and for which we all pay them. I ask them to end their engagement in the mentioned positions honorably and that they do not leave any new problems and problems in the announcement to the new municipal administration, because everything else is a violation of the trust that someone once showed them," Radjenović pointed out.

The holder of the URA Budva list reminds that this kind of irresponsibility of public officials and the disharmony that exists between them is the best proof - why Budva needs a different, more responsible and better local self-government.

"Instead of quarrels, mutual criminal charges and filling the drawers of the SDT, Budva needs people who love their city and for whom Budva comes first. Budva must not be led by clashing against each other's vanities, nor by correcting anyone's complexes. It can and must different and better than that," Rađenović concluded.
