17 voters have the right to vote in the local elections in Budva on November 19.183, while 26 people had the right to vote in the previous elections, held in that city on May 19.034.
This was announced today by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP).
"On the occasion of the Decision of the President of Montenegro, Mr. Jakov Milatović, number: 14/24-1312-01 of August 17, 2024, on the announcement of elections for councilors in the Assembly of the Municipality of Budva for November 17, 2024, in accordance with the powers of Article 16 of the Law on the Voter List, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs the following:
The number of voters in the voter list in the municipality of Budva, according to which the previous local elections were held on May 26, 2024, is: 19.034;
The number of voters in the closed voter list for local elections in the municipality of Budva on November 6, 2024 is: 19.183," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
They said that the voter can inspect the voter list in person, at the counters of the Branch for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in Budva, every working day (from Monday to Friday) from 14:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., with a valid identity card or travel document ( passport).
"The branch for administrative affairs, citizenship and foreigners in Budva, at the time of the elections, i.e. on Sunday, November 17, 2024, will work from 20:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., so that citizens will be able to collect identification documents, for which they submitted the request for issuance in the previous period," the statement added.
They pointed out that the voter can inspect the voter list directly and through the internet portal www.biraci.me.
"On that portal, by entering the number of the ID card or travel document, a citizen can check whether he is on the voter list and at which polling station he is voting. Voters who have an electronic ID card issued after March 30, 2020, can view the voter list directly and via the internet portal https://e.servis.mup.gov.me, using the electronic identification certificate embedded in the electronic identity card , it is necessary to activate the certificate in the electronic ID card. Instructions on how to activate the certificate can be found on the website https://ca.elk.gov.me," the announcement reads.
"Ahead of the aforementioned elections, the Ministry of Internal Affairs established a 'Call-center' with the unique number 19820. By calling this number and communicating personal data (name and surname, date of birth and parents' name) or a unique social security number, the citizen will receive information from the operator about whether he is registered in the voter's list and at which polling station he is voting. The unique number 19820 is available to all mobile and landline users in Montenegro. on November 11, from 8 a.m. to 15 p.m., except for the "Njegošev Dan" holiday, that is, on November 13 and 14. The call center will be open before the election, that is, on Saturday, November 16, from 8 a.m. to 20:17 p.m., while on Sunday, November 7, that is, the day of the election, they will work from 20:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.," it concludes.
