The Vice-President of the Government of Montenegro, Budimir Aleksić, and the holder of the list "For the future of Budva-Budva must go forward" Mladen Mikijelj met with the tenants of professor's buildings in Budva, promising to solve the problems they are facing.
Aleksić and Mikijelj, as stated in the announcement of the coalition "For the Future of Budva", talked with the locals about key problems, especially the issue of using garage spaces.
The tenants pointed out that they have already addressed the municipal authorities several times in order to solve this problem.
Budimir Aleksić, as it is added, during the visit to the tenants of the building emphasized the importance of solving the problems they are facing and expressed his willingness to make an additional effort in cooperation with the Municipality of Budva in order to solve these problems.
"If this is within the jurisdiction of the Municipality, the future president Mladen Mikijelj will do everything to solve this problem as soon as possible," said Aleksić.
Mikijelj promised that after November 17, he would sign the document by which the garages would go to the tenants, if it is within the municipal jurisdiction.
"There has been total chaos here for 15 years. You can be sure that a solution will be found. If the problem is within the jurisdiction of the Municipality, after November 17, the garages will belong to you. And if it turns out that it is within the competence of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, Vice President Aleksić will help the garages to belong to the tenants," Mikijelj stressed.
In the visit to Budva, as announced, they were joined by the President of the United Montenegro, Goran Danilović, together with the candidates for councilors of the Coalition "For the future of Budva - Budva must move forward" - Marina Duletić, Nemanja Kuljač and Radislav Maslovarić.
"Talking with Mikijelj, Danilović emphasized the need for development and accelerated progress of Budva and Montenegro. He gave his full support to Mikijelj, emphasizing:
"Budva and Montenegro must move forward. As last time, we give our full support to Mr. Mikijelj. He understands how far Budva has to progress, and faster than ever before. Mladen Mikijelj showed courage in difficult times, and the citizens of Budva, like the rest of Montenegro, do not forget that. United Montenegro is convinced that this support is at the right address and that Mikijelj and his team will make this city a better place, without divisions on any basis. Budva must move forward!", the announcement states.
Mikijelj, as pointed out, expressed satisfaction with the meeting, especially that it took place in the Port of Budva - a place of special importance for all citizens.
He emphasized that, unfortunately, for years the port had been at the service of private interests, not public ones, and announced concrete plans for its reconstruction and expansion.
"This week, we will call for a tender for the expansion of the Port of Budva in order to provide 300 communal berths for the citizens of Budva. We want Luka Budva to be a place that all citizens will feel like their own, and fishermen will have space for their boats, devoting themselves to fishing instead of looking for moorings," said Mikijelj.
Mikijelj pointed out that with the help of experienced and wise people, as well as young and energetic team members, he plans to realize a vision of progress that will make Budva a different place already next summer.
He is convinced that in four years the citizens will be proud of the changes in the city, and that Budva and Montenegro will move in the right direction with the support and cooperation of the entire team of the Coalition "For the future of Budva - Budva must go forward".
