The Government of Montenegro uses a monopolistic position towards the citizens of Budva, to whom the confiscated land in Mrčevo polje was returned twenty years ago in the ratio 0/0, instead of returning the land to them in the extent of 1/1, in area and location, as it was during the confiscation of land, so that the citizens could finally use it, pointed out Božidar Vujičić, holder of the "Dr. Vujičić Božidar - Voice for Change" list in the upcoming local elections in Budva.
He added that it is the most attractive land in Budva, which, according to him, must be urbanized by the Spatial-Urban Plan of the municipality.
"The government does not want to act in accordance with the Constitution of Montenegro and provide the owners of the land in Mrčevo polje with their property rights, which are guaranteed by Article 58 of the Constitution of Montenegro, the land was returned to the previous owners, but to the extent of 0/0, practically it was not returned to them , because they cannot use it.
The government during the DPS could do anything, even return the land to the former owners in a 0/0 ratio, that is, return it, but not return it. The government in which the representatives of PES, Democrats, NSD, DNP and others occupy the most important positions, who daily call for the rule of law, would have to stop the practice of DPS and most urgently respect the right of citizens to property, i.e. the citizens of Grblje return the confiscated land to the extent of 1/1 in the area and location, where the land was located when it was confiscated," Vujičić concluded.
