Dragana Kovačević, a candidate for councilor from the "Budva our city" list and president of the Executive Board of the Budva Tourism Organization, claims that "a new 'round' of party recruitment has been launched in that organization."
"In recent days, we have received information that a new 'round' of party recruitment has been launched in the Budva Tourism Organization, which reinforces the suspicion that this organization is being illegally used for pre-election purposes. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide precise data on the number of employees in the midst of the pre-election campaign , because the current director Nemanja Kuljača refused to implement the decision by which I was elected president of IO TO Budva, with the explanation that the board was elected illegally," she said.
He reminds that at the assembly of TO Budva on October 14, which was chaired by the vice-president of the Municipality Jasna Dokić, the Executive Board of TO Budva was elected by a majority of votes.
"The decision on the appointment of IO TO Budva was signed by vice-president Dokić and I delivered it to TO Budva, so that it could be filed and further forwarded to CRTO for verification of the mandate, however the secretary of TO Budva refused to file the decision with the excuse that the director Nemanja Kuljača ordered her to Due to the mentioned obstruction, I was not able to get precise data on the number of employees, but according to my knowledge, there are only 12 employees, six per shift! I was informed by the same sources that about 20 people were employed in the last two weeks alone," says Kovačević.
She said that she informed the Special Police Department, the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue, demanding that they react urgently.
"This information has a specific weight, not only because of the suspicion that it is a so-called party recruitment at the end of the pre-election campaign, but also because of the fact that TO Budva has a budget of around five million euros, makes new hires beyond all logic and public interest, and the current prestigious tourism fair in London does not have its own representatives! If we add to that the request of TO Budva Municipality to co-finance the New Year's program, after, in an unknown and tricky way, nearly four million euros were spent from the residence tax, it is clear what kind of process is taking place in this organization. That is, it is difficult to resist the impression that TO Budva has turned into a kind of party branch that finances pre-election expenses," the announcement reads.
