Since the entry of the Bosniak party into the government, Montenegro is significantly closer to the European Union and has a clear European path, the strength to carry out reforms aimed at fulfilling the European agenda and the clearest European perspective since the beginning of the accession process, said that party.
"After the ministers in the 44th Government of Montenegro who come from the Bosniak Party, answering the questions of the members of the Parliament of Montenegro, once again clearly and unequivocally confirmed and showed through concrete results - which was mostly recognized by the parliamentary opposition, that in The Government protects the interests of all Montenegrin citizens, and independent, civil, NATO and European Montenegro, yesterday's decisions of the Government on the lists of projects of exceptional national importance and priority projects for financing in 2025 also confirmed that the Bosniak Party managed to return to the development focus the north of Montenegro and projects that are important for balanced regional development and the development of underdeveloped municipalities," the announcement reads.
"We would like to remind the public in Montenegro that when we made the decision to join the 44th Government of Montenegro, through a written agreement with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and the Europe movement, we now insisted on exactly these two key conditions: an independent and civil Montenegro as a member of the NATO alliance with a clear European agenda and without changing foreign policy priorities and the accelerated development of the north of Montenegro and other underdeveloped or less developed areas through clearly defined priority projects with the aim of reducing regional differences in development and stopping population migration, they added.
They also point out that, in addition to the projects that are in the implementation phase, the Government defined at yesterday's session as projects of exceptional national importance or priority projects for financing from the budget for 2025 and those projects from the agreement that the Bosniak Party has with PES, " which are not in the realization phase, and for which there was a minimum of assumptions to get such a status".
"In the coming period, in addition to our commitment to the implementation of reforms that will make us a new member of the EU in 2028, we will be strongly focused on solving the demographic challenges that the north of Montenegro is facing, especially the Bosniak population, as evidenced by the results of the population census, which stronger and faster economic growth, the creation of new, sustainable jobs and the creation of better conditions for citizens' lives are important to us," said BS.
