Defining a new cultural policy and paradigm must be a priority of the new government, in order for Budva to regain its identity and profile itself as a center of Mediterranean culture, the European Union will once again make Budva the Montenegrin cultural capital, said Dunja Dragović, a candidate on the list "European Union - Petar Odžić (SDP, SD, LP and citizens) - A clear choice".
"Once known as the cultural capital of Montenegro, Budva is today, unfortunately, often perceived as a place that is increasingly losing its Mediterranean spirit and charm. A city that loses its identity also loses its soul, our task is to reverse that trend," she pointed out. Dragovic.
She said that the European Union listens to the most common problems from daily conversations with citizens, that these problems can be solved if the citizens get a government that will truly respond to their needs, and that the European Union will especially devote itself to the development of culture, sports and content for young people .
"In our daily conversations with citizens, we often receive comments related to problems such as party employment, unsustainable transport infrastructure, dysfunctional local government, challenges faced by sports clubs, and the lack of a cultural center and a home for the elderly. All these problems can will be resolved if the citizens get a government that will truly respond to their needs," said Dragović.
According to her, the European Union will once again make Budva a European and cultural capital.
"The establishment of the Culture Center, which we are planning after taking over the management of the city, represents the first step towards achieving the goal - redefining the cultural policy of the city. The European Union will put Budva back on the cultural map not only of Montenegro, but also of a much wider area. After the elections on November 17, The European Union will once again make Budva a European and cultural capital," concluded Dragović.
