A delegation of the Assembly, led by the Vice-President of the Parliament Zdenka Popović, visited the Parliament of Iceland, where they were hosted by the Speaker of that Chamber, Birgir Armanson.
The delegation included MPs Anđela Vojinović, Branka Marković, Drita Lola and Jevrosima Pejović.
Armanson introduced them to the work of the parliament, exchanging experiences and ideas related to European integration, issues of human rights and sustainable development.
After visiting the parliament, the delegation attended a formal reception at the residence of the President of Iceland, Hala Tomasdottir.
During the reception, they discussed the further improvement of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in terms of economic and energy initiatives and gender equality, the Cabinet of the Vice President of the Assembly announced.
