The Deputy President of the Municipality of Danilovgrad, Marija Radonjić Ćupić, today, on behalf of the Democratic People's Party (DNP), laid a wreath at the Serbian military cemetery in Paris on the occasion of Armistice Day, the DNP announced.
"Armistice Day has significant historical and symbolic significance. This day serves as a reminder of the millions of soldiers and civilians who lost their lives during the war, and it symbolizes the pursuit of peace and the prevention of future conflicts. This day also reminds us of the importance of dialogue, tolerance and international cooperation." , it is emphasized in the announcement.
The DNP added that Radonjić Ćupić attended the ceremony marking Armistice Day in the First World War at the invitation of the president of the Federation of Serbs of France, David Jakovljević.
"On that occasion, she also spoke with a prominent official of the Marine Le Pen party, Mr. Stefan Milošević and Saša Pešić, president of the association All Serbs in Paris," the announcement concludes.
