Mia Milić, a candidate for councilor of the "Movement for the City - Đorđe Zenović" voter group, announced that she will advocate for the preservation of cultural monuments.

"Culture and art are key elements of every city, including our Budva. Their development has a significant impact on improving the quality of life, strengthening community engagement and preserving cultural identity. Aware of this, the Movement for the City will advocate for the preservation of cultural monuments, which is crucial for the city's identity, the purchase of the Citadel, investment in its restoration and maintenance. We will advocate for the encouragement of local artists: the city can invest in creative industries, finance art projects, galleries, concert venues and other cultural initiatives so that Budva will come to life outside of the summer months," stated Milić.

Budva, she added, could also host art colonies, which would encourage creative energy and cooperation among artists.

"Development of cultural centers: an open cultural center with galleries, a theater, a cinema hall, music and dance studios, as well as spaces for organizing workshops. Integration of culture and tourism: Budva can develop cultural tourism, which depends not only on natural beauty, but also on rich history and culture. Organizing cultural tours, festivals and events related to tradition, folklore, music and art can attract tourists interested in the wealth of cultural heritage. The vision of our movement is to create a prosperous, ecologically sustainable and culturally rich community.
