Slobodna Montenegro announced this evening that it submitted the electoral list for the local elections in Berane, and that Milovan Živković is at the head of the list.
"The list includes 34 candidates, of which 40 percent are from the underrepresented gender," the statement of Free Montenegro states.
The general secretary of that party, Boban Radević, said that the government will depend on their election list.
"It was my honor to announce that SCG has just handed over the electoral list in Berane. I am convinced that we will achieve a convincing result in the city where I was born, and that the government will depend on our electoral list," said Radević, the announcement reads.
Živković said that the citizens of Beran were the first in Montenegro to defeat the regime of Milo Đukanović.
"Dear men and women of Beran, tonight I am unusually happy to be at the head of the list, together with these young and promising people. The citizens of Beran were the first in Montenegro to defeat the regime of Milo Đukanović. As a group of veterans who fought against the former regime for 30 years, we decided let's call the list the group of Free Citizens together with Free Montenegro, as a group of young people who have never deceived Berans and Berans," said Živković.
The President of Free Montenegro, Vladislav Dajković, said that the party's list was composed predominantly of young people, students, workers, but also PhDs and professors.
"After the victory in Podgorica, it is time to win in Berane as well, but also to say that the DPS will never return to power in this city. Our list is composed predominantly of young people, students, workers, but also doctors of science, professors, led by the extraordinary doctor Milovan Živković. Doctor Živković healed thousands of Berane people, so it's time to heal the city of Berane as well. said Dajković.
Local elections in Berane are held on December 8.
