The Government of Montenegro is achieving exceptional results on its European journey, especially in the area of security and political-economic reforms, said Hungary's special envoy for the Western Balkans, Zolt Bunford.
Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Defense, Crime Fighting and Internal Policy Aleksa Bečić met with Bunford, who said on that occasion that Hungary is ready to provide support in achieving reform goals.
Bečić's cabinet announced that Hungary is recognized as one of the most prominent proponents of the expansion of the European Union to the Western Balkans.
"Montenegro and Hungary cherish traditional friendship and partnership. We are grateful for your continuous support for our integration processes. You confirm this during your current presidency of the EU Council, and the expected closing of four negotiation chapters at the end of the year will be another confirmation of the previous one, but also a recognition of the exceptional tension and "Reforms that Montenegro is implementing on the European path.
