The Vice President of the Municipality of Budva, Jasna Dokić, told the leader of the "Budva our city" list, Nikola Jovanović, that he was the one who fought to form a minority government with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) after the May elections, which she clearly opposed.
Dokić reacted to the text "Budva is our city: Dokić left on the orders of Marović, who manages the campaign of the coalition 'For the future of Budva'".
"While you, Mr. Jovanović, were fighting to form the government with the minority support of the DPS, I clearly said that this was out of the question. The eighth of November is Budva Liberation Day, and then after the liturgy, a wreath was always laid on the memorial at the entrance to the Old Town. I am really sorry, Mr. Jovanović, that because of DPS, you were not allowed to come and attend the laying of the wreath. That act has never been a performance for the public in the history of Budva," said Dokić and added:
"Given that I was one of the founders of the list 'Budva our city', I have the obligation to inform the public that you could not make decisions about coalitions, the arrangement on the list and key political decisions on your own, without consulting the other founders. I do not allow anyone to make decisions in my name", emphasized Dokić.
As she pointed out, "about my involvement in DPS, which ended back in 1998, I met all councilors and citizens at the 10th Session of the Municipal Assembly".
"After that, you didn't mind voting for my election as vice president either. Mr. Jovanovic, I appreciate your concern about my further business involvement, and to make things easier for you, I clearly tell you that none of the actors of the political scene in Montenegro will have an influence on my future occupation. change the electoral will of the citizens of Budva, and that you will report the whole case to the Special State Prosecutor's Office and the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office, I invite you, Mr. Jovanović, to do it immediately, because it is common knowledge among the citizens of Budva that you that's how it works," concluded Dokić.
