The holder of the "Movement for the City" list Đorđe Zenović repeated that he will not give up his principles - he will not support anyone.

The only support, as he said, is for them to lead the city and provide a mayor.

Zenović said that Budva is a suffering city, which was destroyed by political parties.

According to preliminary results, the list led by Zenović won two mandates in the local elections held today in Budva.

"I would like to thank the citizens of Budva, I think they responded to the task, that they reacted in an adequate way. What we expected during the entire campaign came true. They came out, so the turnout was significantly higher than in the last elections and it is definitely that they came out and supported our electoral list," Zenović said at the press conference.

He added that the fight was difficult.

"We dealt with serious machinery and in the end we achieved an impressive result, but that result is only an introduction to the next battles that await us for our city. This is a suffering city, destroyed. Absolutely, political parties destroyed it. This is an unrecognizable city compared to the city I remember from my childhood," said Zenović.

He said that what makes him happy is that the citizens have recognized the local movement and that he is sure that in the coming period, he will give them and their electoral list more and more support.

"Of course, we will see what will happen in the coming period, we have established our demands, we are very principled, we will not give up. All those who accept our four principles, all those who accept that we lead the process, that is, that we the lady of the municipality, they are our partners. We absolutely do not trust anyone," Zenović said.

There are 33 councilor seats in the Budva parliament, so a majority of 17 councilors is needed to form a government.
