The holder of the list "For the future of Budva-Budva must move forward-Mladen Mikijelj" Mladen Mikijelj announced that this list won again in the elections in Budva.

He said that this list will be the headquarters of the future government in Budva.

"Not only did we win, but we came close to the magical number of 3.000 votes. If everyone adheres to what they said in the election campaign, we should form a government without the DPS (Democratic Party of Socialists), and give the key responsibility in running Budva we will take over," Mikijelj pointed out at the press conference.

Mikijelj said that the biggest success was that they managed to stay together for more than six months, and that he is convinced that they will successfully take responsibility for the future of Budva.

He invited all those who do not want DPS to return to power to sit down at the negotiating table.

"Budva has had enough of being tapped in the city, we lost almost a year... What Budva looked like without us in decision-making positions was best seen during the previous summer tourist season. I am convinced that the citizens of Budva do not want that, but want to create political stability in Budva, to form a stable government, to have time to prepare the next summer tourist season," said Mikijelj.

According to preliminary unofficial results from all polling stations, from the election headquarters of PES-Demokrata, the list "For the future of Budva-Budva must go forward-Mladen Mikijelj" received 25,93 percent of the votes, i.e. 2.979 votes or nine mandates.

There are 33 councilor seats in the Budva parliament, so a majority of 17 councilors is needed to form a government.
