The holder of the "Voice for Change" list, Božidar Vujičić, expressed his deep disappointment with the results of the local elections in Budva, assessing that the system of corruption in the city has been further strengthened, the RTV Budva portal reports.

According to the preliminary results, that list did not win a single mandate in today's local elections in Budva.

"There are no changes, only new editions of the old system," Vujičić pointed out.

In his opinion, the elections showed that the political parties succeeded in mobilizing their voters, mostly employed in the local administration, and in that way secured themselves another mandate.

"This is not an expression of the will of the citizens, but an expression of the power of the political parties that brought their voters to vote as if it were a job," Vujičić told the RTV Budva portal.

He warned that this way of conducting politics will lead to new problems in the city, especially in the field of urban planning.

Vujičić pointed out that the citizens who supported him showed a high awareness of the problems facing Budva, but that, unfortunately, they were in the minority.

He is convinced that his predictions about the negative consequences of this way of managing the city will soon come true.

"I expect that we will witness a new wave of illegal construction, corruption and nepotism. Budva will continue to collapse, and the citizens will be the ones who will bear the consequences," Vujičić concluded.
