The holder of the list "For the future of Budva - Budva must move forward" Mladen Mikijelj said that they will not break their word and that they will not form a government with the Democratic Party of Socialists.
"I thank all citizens of Budva who supported our coalition and thus sent a strong message that Budva must come first. I thank all the other citizens of Budva who, in large numbers, went to the polls and thus became active participants in public life, because they showed that they are very interested in the future of Budva. I am happy that Budva, by giving our coalition the greatest trust, has sent a clear signal that it wants unity, stability and that through reconciliation we will move forward strongly", Mikijelj said in the announcement and added:
"Some statements that we heard and read today that we have to trample on the given word are not true. "Citizens know that our election and often repeated message is that we extend our hand for reconciliation, that we want stability and unity and that, immediately after the election, we will send a message that everyone who accepts the anti-DPS platform will gather around the winner," he pointed out.
He says, "aware of our pre-election promise and the obligation to fulfill that promise, and as the winner of the election, with the largest number of votes, we call on all political subjects who do not want the vampirization of the DPS, against which they fought against the poaching and destruction of Budva's resources, to already in in the next few days we will meet and agree on the principles and projects around which we will gather and move strongly forward because Budva really has to move forward".
