The mayor of Podgorica should be delegated by the list of the Movement Europe Now (PES) and Democratic Montenegro, announced today Saša Mujović, Minister of Energy and holder of the list of PES and Democrats in the local elections in Podgorica held on September 29.
His statement was delivered by PES.
"Ahead of the beginning of the negotiations for the establishment of the city government in Podgorica, and the convening of the constitutive session of the city parliament, we inform the Montenegrin public that PES remains decisive in its position that only those political entities that have a constructive approach to the formation of a functional city government can be our partners and that the mayor, and in accordance with democratic principles, the list of the Movement Europe Now and Democratic Montenegro should delegate," Mujović pointed out in the announcement.
He added that for the sake of the citizens, they want to be very clear and decisive, and to avoid any delay in the negotiations.
Jelena Borovinić Bojović, the holder of the electoral list "City of all of us - For the future of Podgorica", announced today that she sent an invitation to the representatives of the Europe Now Movement (PES) and Democratic Montenegro, the Movement for Podgorica and the Citizens' Movement URA for negotiations on the formation of a government.
