The Movement for Podgorica (PzPG) and the Civic Movement (GP) of the URA have agreed on a platform for negotiations on the formation of a government in Podgorica, which states that the post of mayor of Podgorica should go to them, but the name of their candidate for the first man of the capital, Luka Rakčević, is not mentioned. They announced that they will hold a press conference of their coalition "Jakov Milatović - For a better Podgorica" today at 14 p.m. in the Capital Assembly Hall. where he will present the platform.
"Vijesti" announced this morning that the PzPG close to the head of state Jakov Milatović and the GP URA headed by former prime minister Dritan Abazović have not yet determined the final version of the platform.
According to the unofficial information of "Vijesti", Milatović and Abazović should talk today, after which it will be clearer whether their alliance, which appeared in the recent local elections as the "Za bolja Podgorica" list, will break up or start negotiations together. In the elections, they won six mandates in the local parliament, four of which went to PzPG, and two to GP URA.
Yesterday, "Vijesti" published the request that Rakčević be the head of the capital, he will not find it in the platform that the coalition "for a better Podgorica" is preparing for negotiations on the formation of a local government.
The civil movement URA announced yesterday that it stands by Rakčević as the mayor of Podgorica.
