In the platform for the formation of the government in Podgorica, there are no names and surnames, and at no time was a name mentioned, said the official of the Civic Movement (GP) URA Mileta Radovanić.
He said this at a press conference where the "For a better Podgorica" coalition, which in addition to the GP URA also includes the Movement for Podgorica (PzPG) close to the head of state Jakov Milatović, presented a platform for the formation of a government in Podgorica.
"You can see that this is a serious document. It was worked on in the previous weeks. Citizens voted for changes. This is a different approach. Here is the position of the mayor because this is a conceptual approach to the formation of the government. Here are clearly listed the projects, that is, the vision How do we want to see the development of Podgorica in the coming period? Let's take responsibility. I would like to argue with some of the headlines that have appeared. I understand that there is no name or surname in the platform. We, of course, have our own candidate for mayor we claim that he is a good candidate", pointed out Radovanić.

"Vijesti" announced today that PzPG and GP URA have agreed on a platform for negotiations on the formation of the government in Podgorica, which states that the position of mayor of Podgorica should go to them, but does not mention the name of their candidate for the first man of the capital, Luka Rakčević.
Ljiljanić presented the platform
Nađa Ljiljanić from PzPG, presenting the platform, said that they are committed to solving the water supply in Lješanska nahija as soon as possible and thoroughly reconstructing the roof of the Sports Center (SC) in Morač.
She said that they offer a platform in which there are several principles.

"First of all, respect for the Constitution, the law, the Statute of the Capital City, consistent program values, a pledge for a better future for Podgorica, stability and efficiency of management... The political principles that will guide us are transparency, stability and efficiency of management. Prohibition of abuse of power. What Regarding the project provision of the agreement, there are measures that we should plan to implement in the first 100 days. These are subsidies of 50 percent of the costs for extended stay of children, free public transport for pensioners, procurement of new buses and cleans the capital," Ljiljanić pointed out.
She added that, in the first year, it is also necessary to begin the construction of the eastern stand of the city stadium with an underground garage, the beginning of the construction of Božana Vučinić Square with an underground garage, the reconstruction of Jusovača, the construction of new park areas, the completion of the construction of the city theater, the rationalization of redundant employees in the city administration, phased closure of the center for traffic and turning the center into a pedestrian zone, separation of the asylum from "Cistoća", construction of Veljko Vlahović Boulevard...
"In the campaign, we determined that we are against Government policies, especially those that represent a negative trend in the further democratization of society, the adoption of laws and the exclusion of the public, the politicization of institutions, non-transparency, the absence of essential reforms and economic policies that do not lead to sustainable growth. seeing that we have been given a mandate to change Podgorica, as a prerequisite for successful cooperation at the level of the Capital City, we demand respect for democratic procedures in making requests of the capital city without the consent of its leadership, public hearings and the involvement of the professional public. We are asking for a year to implement these projects," she said.
As she added, they demand an amendment to the existing Law on Local Self-Government Financing, which they claim has damaged Podgorica by six million euros.
"We are aware of the fact that the Government has continued the same bad practices as the previous ones, that there are still no essential reforms. We are advocating for changes in the previous negative management practices, improving the lives of the residents of the capital," said Ljiljanić, adding that they are asking for a year to implement the aforementioned projects. in the platform.
The platform is not scripture
Radovanić told his colleagues from the former Democratic Front (DF) that the August 30 majority ceased to exist on October 31, 2023, that is, with the formation of the 44th Government.

"The government is still made up of those political groups that were not for August 30, and the URA GP, which was perhaps the most important grouping for August 30 to happen, is in the opposition. Also, we had previous elections in Berane (2022) when the SNP remained in the opposition, although in 2020 it was part of the ZBCG coalition," said Radovanić.
He said that he believes that this offer is acceptable to everyone.
"We said that we will not participate in the negotiations until we present the platform. We did not participate in the negotiations called by DPS, not even in yesterday's," said Radovanić.
When asked by a journalist if they gave up on Luka Rakčević for mayor, he said that he is not standing personally, but that he was a candidate of the coalition "For a better Podgorica", and that they stand by the fact that he is the best candidate.
When asked by journalists if they were ready to compromise so that Rakčević would not be mayor, Miloš Krstović from PzPG said that the platform is not a holy book, but a starting point, and that he wants the actors to express themselves about it.
When asked by a journalist whether they would go to the negotiations together, Ljiljanić said that they would, but that they would wait for certain parties to decide on their platform.
Radovanić added that the things they want to achieve have been listed in detail and that he hopes that a year after the formation of the government, they will sit down and see what has been achieved.
Responding to a question about the allegations of the Europe Now Movement (PES) and Democratic Montenegro that the election result must be respected during the distribution of power, Ljiljanić said that they are first in favor of respecting the platforms.
Radovanić pointed out that, according to this, the holder of the list of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Nermin Abdić, should be given the position of mayor, and that at the state level, the coalition For the Future of Montenegro (ZBCG) took fewer portfolios than the Bosniak Party (BS).
He said that the next stage is to wait for the comments of other parties, that is, the coalition, so that it will be determined based on that.
When asked what if ZBCG and PES-Democrats agree to everything except the position of mayor, Krstović said that the platform is the starting point, and that if those coalitions think that someone can do it better and take responsibility, that can be a subject of discussion.
When asked by a journalist if she is afraid that new elections await Podgorica, Ljiljanić said that she is not afraid of anything, but that the citizens of Podgorica will become hostages of political actors.
"We know that various actors entered the story to preserve the Government," she pointed out.
She added that she will wait for everyone to make a statement about the platform.
