To say that the president of the country, who according to the Constitution represents Montenegro at home and abroad, has nothing to do with the European integration of the country, apart from showing basic political ignorance, also shows the lack of maturity and responsibility that the position of prime minister requires, announced the Cabinet of the President of Montenegro. They spoke about today's statements by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, who said that the president has no authority or connection with European integration, and that until now there have been obstructions by the state president, Jakov Milatović, in the adoption of laws and the appointment of ambassadors.

Milatović's cabinet said that Milatović's call for dialogue is an expression of political responsibility and a sincere attempt to get all political actors in the country on the same course for the sake of the country's progress on the European path.

"It is important to emphasize that the President of the State does not use the constitutional right to return the law to the Parliament in order to make the work of the Parliament or the Government more difficult, but to point out serious omissions and undemocratic practices, which are clearly identified in the latest European Commission Report.
