Assembly President Andrija Mandić said that he is doing everything in his power to return Montenegrin citizens who were arrested in Kosovo to Montenegro.
Mandić, in a post on the social network X, supported, as he stated, the justified demands of the Orthodox youth "Paths of joy in the lands of the living" who gathered this morning in front of the Assembly.
"I express my full support for the justified demands of the Orthodox youth "Paths of Joy in the Lands of the Living", whose members this morning sent messages of brotherhood and solidarity with the innocently imprisoned Serbs from Nikšić who were ordered to be detained for 30 days in Kosovo and Metohija," Mandic said.
He added that, from the moment of the arrest of Montenegrin citizens in Kosovo, he is doing everything in his power, so that the competent ministry in the Government of Montenegro "returns the innocent imprisoned citizens of Montenegro and members of our army to their homes and families".
Last week, three Montenegrin citizens were detained in Kosovo for up to 30 days, after they were arrested for framing license plates that read "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia".
