The Albanian Forum accused the President of the Assembly, Andrija Mandić, of "inciting chauvinism" in Montenegro and said that it was shocking to them that the President of the State, Jakov Milatović, and the Prime Minister, Milojko Spajić, "they did not announce that they do not have an adequate reaction to the warmongering threats that have been coming in recent days".
The leader of the Albanian Forum is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Nik Đeljošaj.
"Recently, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić, whom we also (unfortunately) supported for that high office, in the hope that in the meantime he realized the futility and failure of the chauvinistic policies he served from the beginning, definitely shows that he remains an irreparable Albanophobe. After attacking the Albanians in Montenegro with war-mongering rhetoric, the Speaker of the Assembly has now gone a step further and dismissed the call of some of his compatriots to agitate and try to further are provoking," the announcement states.
They add that as the strongest political subject of Albanians in Montenegro, they want to believe that the institutions of the state of Montenegro "will not allow hot-headed people to cause such or any similar provocations".
"Certainly, the Albanian Forum will, through institutional action, make the maximum contribution to ensuring that the chauvinism fueled by the random President of the Assembly has no passage in Montenegro. All of this is the sequence and consequence of the irresponsible and warmongering rhetoric used by Mr. Mandić, and it is shocking to us that, for now, neither the Prime Minister nor the President of the State have announced that they do not have an adequate reaction to the warmongering threats that have been coming in recent days.Unfortunately, Mandić has not yet been prosecuted for hate speech and threats to the Albanians, since the threats he recently sent to the leader of the Albanian Forum and the leader of the Albanians in Montenegro, Mr. Niko Đeljošaj, about breaking his teeth, and finally - he threatened and pressured the authorities to mount the procedure, he has now expanded and calls to arrest for all Albanians".
The Albanian Forum points out that all this indicates to them that they will be forced "to self-organize and be alert and ready, so that, if the provocateurs start, individually or collectively, we will have an adequate response, and it will be regardless of the threats".
"We have met and will meet our international partners about all these activities directed by Mandić. Our region is proverbially known for its hospitality to everyone, but when we are approached with deliberate provocations initiated by the speaker of the Assembly, we say that we will not treat such people as The Albanian Forum appeals to all citizens, especially our neighbors and fellow citizens who belong to the Serbian people, because we are aware that most of them do not follow and do not support war-mongering rhetoric. Mandić, to jointly contribute to continue our European path and not allow the subjects of other people's interests to raise tensions in our country for other people's and low interests, whose only intention is to move us away from our European path and a better and more prosperous future for all of us we are nor will we ever call out anyone for celebrating and using symbols that identify themselves and that are in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Montenegro, because the rights we seek for ourselves would never be denied to others, as Mandić would do that.
