The holder of the "For the future of Budva - Budva must move forward" list, Mladen Mikijelj, started negotiations with representatives of political parties, coalitions and voter groups trusted by the citizens of Budva, who, as it was said, "clearly pointed out that they will not cooperate with the DPS , a party that did not take responsibility for its previous actions and because of which the citizens of Budva suffered for a long time".
Mikijelj previously had a meeting within the coalition, who took a clear position that they will act unitedly in the negotiations. At noon, Mikijelj had a meeting with representatives of the "Movement for the City" list led by Đorđe Zenović.
"Same as during the meeting with Nikola Jovanović, we held talks regarding the political crisis and ways to overcome this situation. We are obliged to do this as responsible people, although neither the movement that I led in the elections nor I bear the blame for current events. So, in my opinion, negotiations on the formation of the government are not even in sight, but we have certainly reiterated the position that we will not give up the policy for which we received the support of the citizens in the elections, and above all our four principles that we will not be constructive in further processes, we are also ready to vote for the budget if the local parliament is constituted by the end of the budget year, because anything is better than temporary financing for the tourist season. and it is up to us to be constructive and to contribute to calming tensions in Budva, because the city needs unity more than ever," said Zenović after the meeting with "Vijesti".
During the day, Mikijelj will also have a meeting with representatives of the Citizens' Movement URA, as well as the "Democrats-Mokret Evropa sad" coalition.
For tomorrow, Mikijelj has scheduled negotiations with representatives of the "Budva our city - Nikola Jovanović" list.
