President of the Citizens' Movement URA, Dritan Abazović, spoke today in the European Parliament with MEP Tomislav Sokol.
As announced by the URA General Assembly, the two agreed that the policy of cooperation with neighbors must be a priority and that Montenegro must do more in this field.
"We damaged relations with Croatia, the president of our Parliament and the deputy prime minister became undesirable persons in that country, and relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and now Kosovo, were also damaged. This government is not up to the task and such a policy for Montenegro is devastating. , if we know what was done in the previous period to improve cooperation and good neighborly relations," said Abazović.
He thanked the European MPs for the attention and support they continuously provide to Montenegro.
"I had an obligation to warn about the devastating trends of the anti-European forces, which demonstrate their frivolity through the new Government of Montenegro. I think that everything has become much clearer to the majority in Brussels compared to the previous period, and that is why I expect new political trends to crystallize in the near future as Montenegro Gora would not lose its chance created by geopolitical circumstances," said Abazović.
The announcement also states that Abazović and Sokol stated that for the security and progress of the Western Balkans, it is of crucial importance that all countries continue to fulfill the European agenda and speed up the reform process.
