The deputy president of the Municipality of Budva was dismissed Jasna Dokić she concluded on December 2, the day when she was relieved of her duties as her deputy in the Spuška Investigation Prison by the detained Mayor of the Municipality Milo Bozovic, four contracts for the realization of investment projects worth 1,76 million euros. Those contracts, however, are considered legally questionable by the municipal authorities.
This is confirmed by the contracts that "Vijesti" had access to, and which Dokić signed without knowing that she had been relieved of her duties, as she only found out the following day, December 3, when she arrived at work from the newly appointed vice-president of the Municipality, the leader of the political group "Budva nas grad" Nikola Jovanović, that he is in her armchair.
After the High Court approved the introduction of official documents to the Spu prison, where he has been held since mid-April last year, Božović dismissed Dokić with the explanation that she had violated the law by referring to the findings of the Ministry of Public Administration, which stated that the vice president of the Municipality she did not have the authority to undertake official actions, and that she never requested the authorization from the President of the Municipality, even though it is imperatively prescribed by law. On the same day, that is, on December 2, Božović appointed a close associate, Nikola Jovanović, as his deputy. As written in both decisions, they enter into force on the day of their adoption, that is, on December 2.
Dokić contested the legality of both solutions, and called on the Ministry of Public Administration to urgently carry out an inspection, which they announced, and filed criminal charges against Božović and Jovanović with the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
That the documents signed by Dokić are questionable, the Municipality already announced to "Vijesta" on December 3, when the news about the change in the local administration was announced.
It remains to be seen whether the legally valid contracts signed by Dokić on December 2, namely two contracts with the Podgorica construction company "Asfalt - beton Gradnja", which was entrusted with the construction of the road S 53-53 in Bečići, are worth it, as written in the contract. 398 thousand euros including VAT. On the same day, Dokić also signed the contract with the company from Podgorica, which won the job of building a road in the Dubovica neighborhood of Budva, for which as much as 1,3 million euros will be allocated from the city coffers. On December 2, Dokić signed two more contracts with the Cetinje company SBCC. The first contract refers to work on rehabilitation and modernization of communal infrastructure, which is worth 26.365 euros, and the second, which this company won in a tender for rehabilitation and modernization of road and sidewalk surfaces, is worth 41.575 euros.
"Vijesti" previously announced that the Podgorica company "Asfaltbeton Gradnja" received a number of jobs from the Municipality, worth millions, and many of them were signed by Dokić.
At the end of September, "Asfalt-beton Gradnja" got the job of building a road in Buljarica. The value of the works including VAT amounts to 1,49 million euros. In May, Dokić signed the decision to award the aforementioned company a job worth half a million euros - work on the rehabilitation of existing roads in the Budva municipality.
