The holder of the PES/SNP list in the local elections in Berane, Đole Lutovac, announced that their new victories had begun in Berane.
"I would like to thank everyone from PES and SNP. The campaign was fair because it gives impulses that we will quickly enter into the formation of the government that will lead to the improvement of the standards of the citizens of Beran," said Lutovac.
He said that he would like to thank all the citizens who voted for them.
"We will fulfill what we promised," he added.
According to preliminary results from the Democratic headquarters, this coalition won 13 mandates.
Joković: Berane will experience a renaissance like Kolašin
SNP leader Vladimir Joković said that this list achieved excellent results.
"The results at the state level were recognized, because these parties did not participate in the government in Berane, and they won more than those who made up the government in Berane," said Joković.
He pointed out that people in Berane believe in them, in the future of Montenegro, in the future of Berane.
"Investments such as the highway are announced from the state level. Berane will be connected to Belgrade and Podgorica and will experience a renaissance like Kolašin. In the next four years, Berane will get a highway, and Montenegro will be part of the EU," said Joković.
The president of the SNP Berane Municipal Board, Ivan Radević, said that their energy started in 2014 together with the then municipal president and party vice-president Dragoslav Šćekić.
"We are open to all parties from the coalition that overthrew the DPS on August 30, 2020. I will also thank the voters who did not vote for us, and especially those who gave us their trust," said Radević.
SNP Vice-President Dragoslav Šćekić said that he was very happy that the civic concept and the civic list, the party that aspires to the EU, found a common language.
"Berane is for the EU and Montenegro. We will do our best to ensure that Berane is in his rightful place," Šćekić said.
"I hope that we will form the government very soon, that some principles will be respected, but that those who blackmailed will not do it this time," he added.
