State President Jakov Milatović said that the difference between him and Prime Minister Milojko Spajić is like between "day and night", that is, "truth and untruth".
He said this after the ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Municipality of Danilovgrad, answering a journalist's question about whether and when he will meet with the head of the government.
Milatović pointed out that the invitation exists in connection with what is a strategic and national priority, namely membership in the European Union (EU).
"You can see for yourself that at the beginning of the year the desire and some projection was to close six to eight negotiation chapters, and at the end it is questionable whether we will close four. In the meantime, we managed to do the only thing we were not allowed to do, which is We are setting back our bilateral relations with the Republic of Croatia. I called for responsibility and commitment to that goal, and essentially what they are doing the opposite of what the state's goal is. The difference between me and the president is huge in that sense. It's like the difference between day and night or between truth and falsehood. But regardless, I'm the president of the state , and he is the prime minister, and we must cooperate on what is in the national interest," he said.
