The Government and the "Grand" tourist agency concluded a deal on the rental of vehicles with a driver abroad for the needs of the General Secretariat of the Government, announced the Civic Movement URA.
They indicate that this agency is owned by Sreten Kankaraš, uncle of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
In the contract that they submitted to the media, it is written that the value of the purchase is 50.000 euros including VAT.
URA says that the deal concluded "testifies that nepotism is flourishing on all sides during the rule of Milojko Spajić and Andrija Mandić".
"This case speaks volumes about the nature of the current government, which without any shame and without any scruples looks in every possible way to take advantage of the budget of all citizens of Montenegro and in this way to provide benefits to prominent officials and persons connected with them," the statement reads. .
The URA says that this has confirmed and repeatedly presented information by, first of all, the president of that party, Dritan Abazović, about "the influence that Prime Minister Spajić's uncle, Sreten Kankaraš, has on the decision-making of the current government".
They said that "it is a worrying fact that Spajić's government has money for his uncle", for a 30 percent salary increase for public officials, but that, on the other hand, while "prices in markets are constantly rising and while the government is introducing new levies on citizens", there is no money to increase proportional pensions and child allowances.
